Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contracts Administrator to support the management and administration of contracts within our projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring contractual compliance, mitigating risk, and supporting project delivery through effective contract management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contract Preparation & Review:
o Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements.
o Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
* Contract Administration:
o Maintain accurate records of all contract documentation and correspondence.
o Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties meet their obligations.
o Track key dates, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely execution.
* Risk & Compliance Management:
o Identify and escalate potential contractual risks or issues.
o Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and client requirements.
* Stakeholder Coordination:
o Liaise with internal departments (engineering, procurement, finance) and external stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, suppliers).
o Support project teams with contractual queries and guidance.
* Reporting & Documentation:
o Prepare regular reports on contract status, variations, claims, and close-outs.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience in contract administration within the engineering, construction, or manufacturing sector.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of project management principles.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
