Job Description: Accounts Payable Assistant
Church & Dwight UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Folkestone, Kent, with hybrid working arrangements. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in accounts payable, particularly within a multi-national organization, and with substantial SAP experience.
Responsibilities include:
1. Preparation of supporting documentation for new and amended vendor setups.
2. Managing automated processes for supplier invoices related to specific vendors.
3. Manually posting remaining invoices, credits, and adjustments to vendor ledgers.
4. Monitoring and managing GRIR, parked, blocked, and other non-standard items.
5. Distributing unmatched invoices to relevant managers for approval.
6. Reconciling statements and investigating supplier queries.
7. Liaising with suppliers, internal teams, and banking contacts.
8. Preparing and uploading payment runs, including multi-currency transactions.
9. Managing legal expense invoices via Serengeti platform.
10. Ensuring proper filing of invoices according to company procedures.
11. Supporting SOX compliance through monthly documentation.
12. Contributing to achieving monthly accounts payable working capital targets.
13. Building good relationships across departments and with suppliers.
14. Utilizing and enhancing financial processes daily.
15. Providing analysis reports as required.
16. Reviewing LOA limits monthly and presenting findings to senior management.
17. Preparing bi-annual AP statements for Gov.co.uk.
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounts payable role.
* Preferably from a multi-national organization.
* Desirable knowledge of SAP Concur and SAP ERP.
* Intermediate Excel skills.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
