Role Purpose As Senior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in delivering consistently exceptional food quality across all outlets-maintaining standards in both daily service and event catering.
Key Responsibilities Support delivery of fine dining standards and presentation
Maintain strong execution across conference and banqueting, including busy, peak periods
Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and legal compliance at all times
Lead and motivate the kitchen team during service to ensure smooth, consistent running
Provide strong customer focus when dealing with internal and external parties (guests, event organisers, delegates and suppliers)
Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a Sous Chef (or equivalent) in a busy kitchen environment
Fine dining experience and conference/banqueting experience
Excellent knowledge and a genuine passion for food and drink
Strong time-management and the ability to prioritise under pressure
Demonstrable understanding of production planning, wastage reduction, and stock management
Ability to maintain high standards across day-to-day service and large events
