Job description
Our client, a leading firm in the rail sector, is currently seeking skilled Scheme Project Managers to join their team on a contract basis to oversee significant rail infrastructure projects. This long-term position operates inside IR35 and adheres to stringent industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver projects safely and responsibly, meeting time, budget, and quality requirements in line with the GRIP process and company standards
2. Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful project delivery
3. Ensure all project activities adhere to environmental and health & safety guidelines
4. Manage changes and risks throughout the project lifecycle
5. Oversee the production of comprehensive project management plans
6. Manage project budgets and targets effectively
7. Track project progress and communicate updates, including risks and issues, to stakeholders
Job Requirements:
8. Experience in project management within the rail infrastructure sector
9. Proficiency in civil engineering principles
10. Understanding of Oracle Projects
11. Knowledge of commercial and financial procedures
12. HND/HNC qualification or equivalent
13. Strong leadership and team management skills
14. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
