Business Development Manager – Skills Bootcamps (Digital) £35,000 – £45,000 + Bonus Scheme
Who We're Hiring For
We're working exclusively with a leading digital learning specialist to find a Business Development Manager to support the growth of their Skills Bootcamp provision across several key regions in England.
Our client is an established name in digital skills delivery — partnered with the likes of Apple, AWS, Google, and Microsoft — and they're scaling up quickly off the back of new funded contracts.
The Role
You'll be responsible for building and managing verified employer networks across your region — getting businesses committed to interviewing and hiring bootcamp graduates, generating pipeline, and supporting the commercial activity that sits behind funded digital skills delivery.
Day to day that looks like:
* Building a verified employer network — securing business commitments to interview and hire Skills Bootcamp learners
* Generating leads and managing relationships with employers, LEPs, Chambers of Commerce, and local growth stakeholders
* Representing the organisation at regional events and forums
* Working closely with the delivery team to align employer demand with live programme provision
* Tracking activity and hitting KPIs around employer sign-ups and learner outcomes
* Supporting tender bids with evidence of employer engagement and regional market demand
What You'll Need
* A background in BD or partnerships within skills, training, or education
* Solid understanding of the Skills Bootcamp model — funded delivery, employer obligations, the lot
* A proven track record building employer networks or verified employer pipelines
* Self-sufficient and comfortable owning a region — you don't need to be managed, you need to be trusted
* Fine working within a tender-led environment — this is common in the sector and our client is well placed
* Based in or with strong connections across one or more target regions (Oxford, Devon, Liverpool, Cheshire, Warrington)
The Package
* £35,000 – £45,000 basic (DOE)
* Performance bonus
* Flexible/remote working with regional travel
