LVS Oxford is a specialist school for neurodiverse young people aged 11-16.
We are seeking an experienced Teacher of Maths to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level and have a teaching qualification. Experience of teaching and supporting students with special educational needs, particularly those who have a diagnosis of Autism is also necessary.
Class sizes are typically no larger than eight students, with Learning Support Assistants deployed according to the activities taking place. The role demands the application of specialist teaching approaches, systematic planning and record keeping and the management and deployment of support staff as well as good ICT skills.
The teacher will be a tutor for a form group and support them with pastoral, parent contact and report writing duties including attending EHCP reviews.
