We are seeking an exceptional Defence Lead Sector Architect (Senior Manager) to drive end-to-end architectural vision, lead complex digital transformations, and elevate our capability across cloud, data, AI, and emerging technologies. About the Role In this pivotal position, you will define and evolve cutting-edge reference architectures, design tech-enabled business platforms, and shape strategic roadmaps for organisations navigating high-stakes Defence transformations. You will steer architectural strategy, provide technical leadership across multiple programmes, and cultivate the next generation of architectural talent. What You'll Do Architect innovative, multi-technology E2E solutions and outline the transformation roadmap to deliver them. Bring forward-thinking, outside-in insights to Defence clients, accelerating their adoption of emerging technologies. Provide technical assurance and oversight to ensure delivery remains aligned to architectural vision. Lead, mentor and develop architects, driving capability building, innovation and reusable assets. Contribute to business development while delivering high-quality client outcomes. What You'll Bring Deep expertise in Defence sector business and technology architecture. Proven experience designing and delivering complex, tech-enabled solutions for major clients. Strong E2E Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture skills. Leadership experience guiding multidisciplinary teams through intricate technical programmes. Understanding of the Defence vendor landscape and relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe, major cloud providers). Strong knowledge of cloud, data and AI technologies and their practical application. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across senior Defence and government audiences.
