Software Sales Advisor – Digital Subsea & Surface Pressure Systems
Develop, own, and execute strategic sales plans to drive digital product and service revenue growth across the Eastern Hemisphere for the Digital Subsea & Surface Pressure Systems (SSPS) Product Segment.
Responsibilities
* Developing, owning, and executing a strategic sales account plan to drive digital product and service revenue growth across the Region and Product Segment.
* Engaging with ‘C’ level and key customer personas to promote the Digital Subsea & Surface Pressure Systems portfolio.
* Being a Trusted Advisor and Customer Champion, establishing partnership relationships with key clients.
* Introducing technical sales representatives, solution architects, and sales support teams for deep technical dives and understanding of the solutions.
* Leading efforts to establish and expand market share, plan, create, and maintain pipeline.
* Collaborating with product development, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to align digital offerings with market demands and communicate value propositions effectively.
* Working with leaders across the organization to develop growth strategies across product offerings with complex and enterprise customers.
Qualifications
* Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline; experience in enterprise software or digital solution sales within offshore, subsea, or upstream environments is highly valued.
* Bring strong domain expertise in Subsea & Surface Pressure Systems, with practical exposure to:
o Subsea production systems including Christmas Trees, manifolds, jumpers, umbilicals, and tie‑ins
o Subsea and surface pressure control equipment and their integration with drilling, production, and facilities.
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of the subsea project and asset lifecycle, from design to installation and operations, including interpretation of EPC deliverables (e.g., P&IDs, interface drawings, installation procedures)
* Possess working knowledge of subsea flow assurance, hydraulics, and system integrity, and how these challenges impact reliability, availability, and production uptime.
* Show clear understanding of subsea control systems and integration, including interfaces between subsea equipment and topside control / SCADA systems.
* Be comfortable positioning digital and software-enabled solutions in a subsea context, such as asset performance and integrity management, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, remote operations, digital twins, analytics, and decision‑support tools.
* Understand operator and EPC operating models, commercial drivers, and the role of standards (API, ISO, DNV) in subsea system qualification and acceptance.
* Demonstrate strong commercial awareness of customer operating models, competitive landscapes, and commercial drivers in offshore and subsea markets.
* Exhibit excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior leadership levels.
* Show the ability to lead initiatives, align stakeholders, and influence without direct authority.
* Manage multiple priorities and complex opportunities simultaneously with strong organizational discipline.
* Apply analytical thinking and structured problem‑solving to shape differentiated customer solutions.
* Be fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
