Your role and responsibilities
Working within the Strategic Planning and Resources, Supported Housing and Day Opportunities team, this role will provide operational and administrative support in the oversight of both Supported Housing and Day Opportunity contracts ensuring the efficient delivery of contract management activities, monitoring of financial viability, quality, delivery and cost, delivering savings where relevant and appropriate and driving up contract performance.
You will also be responsible for providing operational support for all elements of commissioning including planning, service redesign, market development, procurement and contract management activity where required.

You will need:
* a good knowledge of Adult Social Care
* previous and demonstrable experience in Contract, Quality and Performance Management
* a good knowledge of the commissioning cycle and active engagement and experience in commissioning activity
* a passion for making a positive difference for Suffolk and supporting the delivery of personalised, good outcomes for people
* self-confidence and perspective to facilitate open and honest relationships with the internal and external partners in order to discuss and remove barriers to the effective delivery of services
* a good understanding of the People at the Heart of Care principles

The team has embraced hybrid working and you should plan to be in the office a minimum 2 days a week. To promote team interaction our office days are usually Mondays and Wednesdays.
