KS1 Teacher Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture. Track and assess pupil progress, identifying areas for development. Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour. Work closely with support staff, parents, and colleagues to enhance learning outcomes. Create and maintain an engaging classroom environment. Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development. Contribute to school events, planning, and continuous improvement. Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote student welfare at all times Skills & Requirements for Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE Recent experience teaching within a KS1 setting (placements considered for ECTs) Good understanding of the national curriculum and phonics frameworks Strong classroom management and organisational skills A caring, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to teaching Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply.
