Description About the role: We are looking to hire a dedicated individual to join our Procurement team as a Contract Manager. In this role, you’ll take the lead as Framework Manager for our Government framework agreements, while also acting as Supplier Contract Manager for key Gowling WLG contracts. You’ll play a central role in developing and embedding effective Supplier Contract Management processes and procedures across the organisation, including establishing and maintaining a centralised framework and call‑off contract database. Working closely with business stakeholders, you’ll provide strategic support and insight into the direction, cost and performance of supplier agreements, helping to ensure they deliver maximum value and align with organisational objectives. About you: We are looking for a highly organised individual with a natural ability to plan, prioritise and deliver against objectives and targets, alongside good relationship management skills. You’ll thrive in a changing environment, bringing a flexible and forward‑looking mindset, and enjoy working across a variety of situations while continuously seeking ways to improve. Ideally, you’ll have at least five years’ experience managing Government contracts and procurement frameworks, with a strong understanding of government framework agreements and contract management processes. You’ll feel confident chairing and contributing to contract performance meetings with Government clients, and you’ll bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective, collaborative relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders alike. Knowledge & Qualifications: Educated to Degree Level or have relevant management experience. Ideally certified with World Commerce & Contracting or equivalent degree/diploma in a relevant subject. Knowledge of English Contract Law, and Government frameworks.
