Workshop manager

Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Workshop Manager with a leading national/international transportation company.

As a Workshop Manager, youll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that all maintenance, repairs, and inspections of HGVs and other vehicles are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Youll lead a team of technicians, manage workflow and scheduling, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement in processes and service delivery.

Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Lead and manage a team of technicians, ensuring high performance and motivation
* Oversee all HGV maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
* Ensure compliance with DVSA and health & safety regulations
* Schedule workloads and manage priorities effectively
* Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers/customers
* Maintain workshop standards and ensure equipment is properly maintained
* Monitor performance, KPIs, and workshop efficiency
Skills & experience required.
1. Proven experience in a similar role within a commercial vehicle or HGV workshop
2. Strong technical background with relevant HGV qualifications
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
