Job Title: OT Engineer/Automation Architect

Overview:
I'm working with a global manufacturing & FMCG organisation who are gearing up for a series of major operational technology projects. They're modernising their automation and infrastructure stack and are looking to connect with experienced engineers/architects who can deliver on Siemens PLC upgrades, OT network resilience, and large-scale system integration projects.
The Opportunity:
You'd be part of a site-level engineering team, contributing to strategic infrastructure upgrades across highly regulated, high-output environments. It's a chance to bring technical depth and practical project delivery skills into an organisation where OT security, uptime, and scalability are critical.
What You'll Be Working On:
* Siemens PLC programming, migration, and optimisation (S7, TIA Portal).
* OPC connectivity and integration across complex environments.
* OT infrastructure upgrades - server migrations, network resilience, automation systems.
* Collaborating with site engineering managers and wider technology teams to design and deliver projects.
* Vendor and stakeholder management across multi-site operations.
What We're Looking For:
* 8+ years' experience in OT/automation across FMCG, pharma, or other regulated industries.
* Strong hands-on Siemens PLC background (S7, TIA Portal).
* Proven track record delivering OT infrastructure upgrade projects.
* Experience managing stakeholders and suppliers in high-output environments.
* Ability to balance hands-on technical delivery with architectural/strategic input.
