Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality nursing care in line with practice protocols and national guidelines.
* Provide wound care, suture removal, venepuncture and management of minor injuries.
* Administer medications.
* Administer immunisations and vaccinations, including childhood, flu, shingles and travel vaccines.
* Perform ECGs and other diagnostic tests.
* Perform cervical cytology and screening procedures.
* Conduct health checks including BP, BMI, and cardiovascular risk assessments.
* Respond to medical emergencies including anaphylaxis and resuscitation.
* Maintain safe storage, handling and stock control of vaccines and medications.
* Support infection prevention and control standards.
* Chaperone and assist clinicians where required.
