Public Health Design Engineer - Building Services \n London \n Up to £60,000 per annum \n \n We are seeking an experienced Public Health Design Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced building services consultancy based in London. This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad portfolio of high-profile projects including commercial developments, luxury residential schemes, and international arenas. \n \n About the Role: \n As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for delivering public health engineering solutions from concept through to construction.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can hit the ground running, contribute immediately to live projects, and operate with minimal supervision. \n \n You'll be joining a collaborative environment that values technical excellence and creative problem-solving, with the chance to work alongside leading architects and clients on both UK and international developments. \n \n Key Responsibilities: \n * Design and specification of domestic water services, above & below ground drainage systems, and rainwater harvesting.
\n * Co-ordination with architects, structural and MEP teams. \n * Attendance at project and design meetings with clients and consultants. \n * Delivery of compliant, robust, and efficient public health designs using industry-standard software.
\n * Oversee site installations and inspections where necessary. \n \n Requirements: \n * Proven experience in public health design within a building services consultancy. \n * Strong technical knowledge of UK regulations and international standards.
\n * Competency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software (e.g. Hevacomp, Cymap, or similar). \n * Ability to manage own workload and support junior staff where applicable.
