Project Manager - EPOS
Contract: 6 Months (Outside IR35)
Location: West Yorkshire
Day Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Overview
TXP Talent is supporting a leading organisation in the search for an experienced EPOS Project Manager to join on a 6‑month contract basis (Outside IR35). This role will focus on the delivery of EPOS programmes across multiple sites, working closely with clients, technical teams, vendors, and on‑site engineers.
This is a hands‑on delivery role, suited to a contractor who is comfortable operating in fast‑paced environments and managing end‑to‑end EPOS deployments.
Key Responsibilities
End‑to‑end management of EPOS projects from initiation through to go‑live and handover
Creation and ownership of project plans, RAID logs, budgets, and reporting
Coordination of multi‑site EPOS rollouts, upgrades, and migrations
Primary point of contact for clients and senior stakeholders
Management of third‑party suppliers, vendors, and field engineering teams
Ensuring site readiness ahead of deployment (access, onboarding, logistics, scheduling)
Proactive risk, issue, and dependency management
Delivery of clear, regular project updates to stakeholders
Ensuring governance, quality, and change control processes are adhered to
Essential Skills & Experience
Demonstrable experience delivering EPOS / POS projects as a Project Manager
Strong understanding of EPOS environments (hardware, software, integrations, site rollouts)
Experience delivering multi‑site retail or hospitality programmes
Excellent stakeholder and client-facing communication skills
Proven ability to manage on‑site delivery teams and third‑party suppliers
Strong planning, organisation, and problem‑solving skills
Comfortable working in a contract, delivery‑focused role
Desirable Experience
Retail, hospitality, or QSR EPOS deployments
Payments, PCI compliance, or store technology programmes
PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management methodologies
Experience working with consultancies, MSPs, or system integrators
