Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to cover night shifts at a beautyful care home in Heanor. This ongoing role offers weekly paid hours and an immediate start, providing vital support to the existing team.
Responsibilities
* Deliver the highest standard of personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans using PCS software.
* Ensure all interactions are warm, respectful, and supportive while maintaining strict adherence to Health and Safety protocols, including COSHH, Food Hygiene, and Infection Control.
* Administer medication using Atlas eMAR and liaise with other healthcare professionals to meet residents’ needs.
* Maintain confidentiality and handle all personal information and incidents with discretion.
* Provide hands-on support during night shifts and ensure all duties are completed; support the night team. Participate in handovers to ensure continuity of care between night and day teams.
* Work up to four night shifts per week as rota needs require.
Requirements / Qualifications
* An Enhanced DBS Certificate
* NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care
* Up to date mandatory training certificates
* Full up-to-date CV
* A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a senior care assistant within a 20+ bed care home
* A referenceable work history
* A bubbly and outgoing personality with a genuine passion to make residents lives as fulfilling as possible
* Previous experience with Atlas eMAR and PCS is preferred but not essential
Additional Information
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, we can help with online training available at a subsidised fee and certificates are yours to keep.

Salary and Hours
You will be paid £14.50 per hour. Working hours are 22:00 to 07:00 on up to 4 nights per week, around the needs of the rota.
