Position: Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/PD Lead
We have a 1 WTE vacancy for a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/PD Lead within ACP services in Mid Essex. The role is open to newly qualified applicants, with the possibility of starting at band 7 and progressing to 8A with preceptorship.
We seek a candidate interested in developing expertise in psychological interventions such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy or Schema Therapy, aimed at reducing risk and emotional dysregulation.
ACP services are integrated within MDTs across a broad geographical area, with bases in Chelmsford and Braintree. The successful applicant will work alongside professionals from various backgrounds, providing interventions to service users with complex presentations under community care. Proficiency in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions and contributing to programme management is essential. Skills in multidisciplinary treatment planning and fostering respectful, collegial relationships are required.
