Overview
Our staff support adults with mental ill‑health conditions and learning disabilities in a care home environment, including daily living skill development, personal care, community‑based activities and managing behaviours that may be challenging.
Our care home, Ashgables, is a registered home with 24 beds and currently has 18 residents who receive support from our friendly and kind staff team.
Responsibilities
* Support daily living skill development for residents.
* Provide personal care to meet individual needs.
* Organise and facilitate community‑based activities.
* Help manage challenging behaviours.
* Work 12‑hour shifts; weekend work is required, with a shared responsibility to provide free weekend time.
* Apply the person‑centred approach to help residents live as independently as possible.
Requirements
* Resident in the UK and eligible to work without restriction; no sponsorship required.
* Committed, compassionate and willing to work in a friendly, professional team.
* Experience is not mandatory; training will be provided from day one.
* Available for part‑time contracts with the possibility of enhanced rates over time.
