About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher. While no planning or marking is required, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a productive learning environment and ensuring continuity in students' education. Responsibilities include: Supervising whole classes during teacher absence Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Supporting students with tasks and ensuring they remain on task Reporting back to teaching staff with any issues or feedback from the lesson Building positive relationships with students and school staff Person Specification: We are looking for individuals who: Have experience working with children or young people (e.g. in schools, coaching, youth work, tutoring) Are confident, adaptable, and calm under pressure Communicate effectively and can engage students positively Can manage classroom behaviour and maintain order Understand the importance of safeguarding and follow school protocols Are considering a career in teaching or education Why Apply?
