As a Boots Pharmacist, you won’t just manage the safe supply of medicines, you’ll lead a business, inspire a team, and shape the future of pharmacy in your community. Responsibilities
* Leading the safe and effective running of the pharmacy and healthcare business while staying visible and accessible to patients and your team.
* Taking ownership of commercial and clinical performance, with a focus on raising standards and delivering strong patient outcomes.
* Delivering NHS, locally commissioned, and private services and embracing the use of technology to enhance the patient experience.
* Consistently monitoring and evaluating pharmacy standards and safety to ensure patients, customers, and team members are protected.
* Working in partnership with the Store Manager to develop the capability, confidence, and cohesion of the healthcare team.
* Inspiring and coaching colleagues to grow in their roles, building a team culture based on performance, development, and shared ambition.
What you’ll need to have
* Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, or PSI)
* A growth mindset — you’re someone who is always looking to improve, learn, and lead change
* Strong communication and leadership skills to build trusted relationships with patients, your team, and local healthcare professionals
* Experience in driving pharmacy performance and leading with a high standard of patient care
* A desire to deliver and champion essential, advanced, and private pharmacy services
* The confidence to own results, set a clear vision, and bring others along on the journey
