We are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Commissioning Editor to contribute to the growth of our Academic Philosophy list. Our list publishes over 100 titles a year and comprises of high quality and cutting-edge scholarship alongside texts and resources for students. We publish philosophical traditions from around the world and cater to an audience engaging critically with contemporary thought.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our team of editors on a fixed term contract and play a part in the expansion of our publishing programme. The successful candidate will join a friendly team based in our central London offices.

Additional information
The role is part-time for 4 days per week and a 12-month fixed-term position starting December 2025.
Salary pay point:
£28, hours) / £35,000 FTE
The role is based at our London office 50 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3DP on a hybrid working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred). Allocated office days for this role are:
Wednesdays
and
Thursdays.
