At our sterile manufacturing site in Runcorn, UK, we manufacture, fill and pack our own sterile pharmaceutical products, primarily used in the treatment of respiratory conditions and multiple sclerosis.
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Sterile Specialist to support our sterile manufacturing operations in Runcorn, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ability to work safely in a team
2. Plan and operate the production of sterile products according to the customer service plan
3. Support quality investigations and Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) for process-related problems
4. Support manufacturing activities, changeovers, testing and cleaning activities in accordance with cleanroom Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and cGMP
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement
6. Support filling machine set-up/start-up activities in accordance with cleanroom SOPs and cGMP
7. Report any instance of non-conformances to Management Team
8. Take an active role in troubleshooting and resolving process issues in a quick and effective manner
9. Complete batch and associated manufacturing documentation right first time (RFT)
Your Experience And Qualifications:
10. Previous experience in sterile environment or a similar environment, such as food manufacturing and medical devices, is essential
11. Excellent technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
12. Strong communication and collaboration skills
13. Ability to set and deliver high performance standards for self and others in the team
14. Ability to work on your feet for 12 hours
Shift Patterns:
You’ll be required to work on a rotating shift basis, with shifts running from 6am to 6pm and from 6pm to 6am.
