We’re working with a growing and forward-thinking business in the renewable energy sector, specialising in EV charging and solar solutions for commercial properties. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider business with financial administration and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
* Day-to-day bookkeeping using Sage 50
* Maintaining financial records and ledgers
* Producing cash flow reports for senior leadership
* Monitoring invoices, payments, and purchase orders
* Performing reconciliations
* Supporting month-end processes
* Handling general admin tasks (emails, filing, document management)
* Supporting wider office operations where needed
About You
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a finance or bookkeeping role (essential)
* Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
* Confident producing and analysing cash flow reports
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Proactive and able to work independently
* Strong communication skills
Important Details
* This is a part time role, 30 hours preferably over four days, but the client are happy to explore 5 days with longer shorter daily hours (to fit around a school run for example)
* Hybrid role - 1 day working from home
* Up to £33,000 full time equivelent salary
