The specialty chemical manufacturer and distributor needs a Sales Manager within the CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers) business unit.My client posses an exceptional culture with incredible staff retention figures. They want someone to help continue to build a resilient thriving and responsible business, focusing on the distribution side of their portfolio.Key Responsibilities Include: Reporting to the Managing Director, you would be responsible for driving growth within the business unit.Travel 40% to meet customer in the region.Manage, develop, and understand the needs of a growing customer base, making regular visits to these accounts to build, maintain and manage relationships with key contacts at all levels.Carry out visits to target customers to promote products and provide feedback to business and suppliers of customer response and activity.Qualifications5 years of experience within CASE dealing with specialty chemicals especially polymers, additives, resins, and pigments.Regional experience of the UK and Ireland.A bachelor’s degree in chemistry.A valid driving license, and evidence of insurability.Someone who is aggressive and likes building relationships, with a deep technical understanding.Excellent communication skills.Ability to liaise with people at all levels.Our offer to youAbove industry standard salary, with an annual bonus of up to 15%.Company car.Pension.25 days holiday.£3K -£5K on training packages annually.
