About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Employment Solicitor (2-5 years PQE) to join a highly regarded Employment Team at a top-tier Legal 500 law firm. You will work alongside industry-leading Partners, handling complex and high-profile employment matters across a wide range of sectors.
This role offers the chance to work on high-value employment disputes, mergers and acquisitions, TUPE transfers, redundancy exercises, and advisory work for both employers and employees. You will also contribute to business development and client relationship management within a collaborative and ambitious environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Drafting contracts, policies, agreements, and handbooks.
* Advising on employment issues connected with mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing, and TUPE transfers.
* Handling employment disputes, including Tribunal preparation and representation where appropriate.
* Managing complex redundancy and restructuring exercises.
* Supervising junior team members and supporting their professional development.
* Engaging in business development and marketing initiatives to grow client relationships.
Team members frequently work on high-profile, commercially significant cases, such as multi-million-pound discrimination claims, large-scale redundancy plans, and international corporate transactions. This ensures exposure to strategically important work and a variety of industries including healthcare, construction, property, automotive, technology, and leisure.
The ideal candidate will have:
* 2–5 years PQE in an established employment law team.
* Strong track record of advising clients and developing relationships.
* Excellent commercial awareness and client service skills.
* Experience in employment litigation, TUPE, and corporate employment matters.
Benefits:
* Salary between £55,000 - £65,000
* Generous fee earner bonus up to £45,000
