Job Description:
Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to join our Client primary school in Chichester (PO20) .
* Position: PPA Teacher
* Type of Work: Class Teacher
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Type: Temp to Perm
* Full-Time: 5 days per week, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (term time only)
* Rate of Pay: Negotiable based on experience
* Duration: Ongoing
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons across multiple year groups to cover teacher absences.
* Plan, mark, and assess pupils’ work.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Experience, Training, and Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential, with experience teaching in a school setting (permanent or supply roles).
* Safeguarding Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training is mandatory. If you haven’t completed this within the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide a free course to ensure compliance.
Eligibility Criteria
* Right to Work in the UK: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
* Enhanced DBS Certificate: An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service is required or willingness to apply for a new one.
* Professional References: Two child-related professional references covering the past two years are essential.
