Description
* Design, develop, and implement control and automation systems for manufacturing processes.
* Maintain and troubleshoot automation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
* Conduct testing and validation of automation systems to meet operational standards.
* Prepare technical documentation and reports for implemented systems.
* Provide technical support and training to the operations team.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all automation activities.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions.
Profile
A successful Controls & Automation Engineer should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related field.
* Experience in designing and implementing automation systems.
* Strong knowledge of control systems and programming languages.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining automation equipment.
* An understanding of safety and quality standards in industrial settings.
* Ability to work collaboratively within an engineering and manufacturing team.
Job Offer
* Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000.
* 25 days of annual leave plus 8 public holidays.
