We are currently working with a market-leading international firm who are looking for a Senior Solicitor to join their Employment team within their Belfast office.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and esteemed team, working on a range of both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. The candidate's duties will include providing strategic HR advice, transactional support, supporting global mobility, and advising on claims of discrimination and diversity and trade union relations.
The candidate will play a key role in directly advising a diverse international and domestic client base on cross-border and high-profile employment law matters, such as disciplinary & grievances, employment litigation, and employee reward. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria
* 5+ PQE;
* Dual qualification in both NI and Republic of Ireland highly advantageous;
* Strong background in employment law within a large international or City firm;
* Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
* Outstanding academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Negotiation skills;
* Willingness to become involved in business development;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
