Role Overview
As part of the Physiotherapy department, you will be joining a big supportive team passionate about caring for the residents of East Sussex. You will have the opportunity to attend an in‑service training programme and complete supervision sessions with your line manager. You will also work closely alongside the IDT Occupational Therapy team and the wider multi‑disciplinary team, including our newly appointed Advanced Practitioner to the team.
As part of this role you will work with a team of Physiotherapists providing a high level of assessment and rehabilitation to the patients of East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust; including Frailty, General medicine and palliative care.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside the Physiotherapists and autonomously carry out exercise programmes, maintenance programmes and rehabilitation sessions planned by a Physiotherapist.
* Complete data inputting and assist with the ordering of equipment through the Millbrook system to ensure timely discharge for patients across the trust.
* Attend in‑service training programme and complete supervision sessions with your line manager.
* Work closely with the IDT Occupational Therapy team and the wider multi‑disciplinary team, including the newly appointed Advanced Practitioner.

About the Organisation
