Woodview School is recruiting a catering assistant to join their catering team.
We are seeking passionate individuals who can support catering operations by assisting with basic food preparation and hygiene, promoting healthy eating, and contributing to the wellbeing of our children and young people.
In this role, under supervision, you will be responsible for parts of the catering operation, ensuring the kitchen and related areas meet hygiene standards and comply with our Safe Catering Policies and Procedures. You will assist the Chef with meal preparation and cooking, support stock ordering, and manage deliveries.

Set in its own private grounds, Aspris Woodview School provides holistic support to children and young people aged 7 to 19 years with autism.
The curriculum is designed to enable students to follow a broadly mainstream curriculum with accredited qualifications, preparing them for adulthood and employment.

Previous experience in meal preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment is preferred, along with the following qualities:

* Organization – You should be confident and organized in updating menus, managing dietary requirements, and reporting relevant information for the care of our young people.
* Attentiveness – Since each young person is unique, being attentive to their needs and identifying how we can support them is important.
