As a Workshop Technician, you'll be the backbone of our production efforts, ensuring everything runs smoothly! Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the assembly and testing of products
Conducting routine maintenance and repairs
Collaborating with the engineering team to improve processes
Keeping the workshop organised and safe
Maintaining accurate records of production activitiesEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Previous experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment
A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Good communication skillsDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
While not mandatory, the following will give you an edge:
Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds)
Familiarity with CAD software or similar tools
Experience with quality control processes
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop environmentTechnologies:
Mechanical and electrical assembly tools
Testing and diagnostic equipment
