We are working with an excellent client, who is looking to appoint a Payroll Assistant on a part-time basis.
You will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, supporting the smooth running of their payroll processes.
What you will be doing:
* Review and collate weekly / monthly inputs such as process payroll data, including starters / leavers, attendance, bonus and amendments
* Assist in preparing and checking monthly payroll runs
* Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation and company policies
* Handle employee payroll queries promptly and professionally
* Maintain accurate payroll records and support audits
* Assist with pensions, benefits, and statutory payments
Your key skills and requirements:
* Previous experience working in payroll
* Computer literate
* Good communication skills
What’s on offer:
* Annual salary of up to £30k (PRO RATA)
* Part-time hours 20 – 25 hours
* 25 days holiday
