Role: Site Fitter
Salary: £17.00 - £20.00ph (dependent on experience)
Hours: Days only
Location: Various
The engineer will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing steelwork, pipework and equipment. The successful candidate will be able to interpret engineering drawings, carry out welding and fabrication to high standards, and support wider site maintenance activities.
The Role:
* Read and interpret technical and installation drawings.
* Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble structural steel and plate components.
* Perform welding and fabrication tasks on site.
* Carry out pipework installation and repair activities.
* Operate site-specific machinery, hand tools, and welding equipment safely.
* Ensure work meets quality standards and tolerances.
Desirable:
* CSCS Card (Desirable)
* Additional site-related qualifications (e.g., IPAF, PASMA, Compex).
* Recognised Mechanical or Fabrication Qualification.
* Strong background in welding/plating/fabrication.
