Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
In this role, you will build secure, scalable Python services that strengthen CGI’s AIOps platform. You’ll create reusable components, enhance observability, and integrate automation and AI to improve operational performance. You’ll work across the full lifecycle, shaping cloud-ready solutions and collaborating with teams to deliver impactful engineering outcomes.
• Develop: Build Python services, automation, and integrations.
• Enhance: Develop observability pipelines (Elastic, Grafana).
• Integrate: Apply AI/ML within AIOps workflows.
• Secure: Use secure-by-design and automated security testing.
• Engineer: Build APIs and distributed systems integrations.
• Improve: Design performant, observable systems.
• Automate: Deliver CI/CD and IaC workflows.
• Collaborate: Share knowledge and best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You’ll bring strong Python skills, hands-on observability experience, and a solid understanding of AI/ML concepts. You should be comfortable working end-to-end across the engineering lifecycle and delivering secure, scalable solutions.
