Our Engineering Teams are the heartbeat of our operations - the driving force turning strategy into reality. We believe in engineering success, not just fixing problems. Our teams transform capabilities daily: slashing downtime, maximising equipment life, and pushing productivity to new heights.
We're recruiting for an experienced and motivational Site Engineering Manager who thrives on developing and leading a skilled team. If your passion lies in guiding experts through intricate maintenance, precision machining, complex fitting, and advanced electrical systems, we want to hear from you.
This isn't just a management role; it's a chance to be truly vital and innovative. You'll lead the team that sets the pace, directly impacting our operational success and securing our competitive edge in a rapidly evolving world.
We're continuously investing heavily in our Engineering function, offering fantastic opportunities for personal development and career progression. If you're ready to own all things engineering at a critical site and shape its future, we want to hear from you!
What's the mission?
This is more than just managing - it's about leading our site engineering operations towards peak performance. Your challenge? To expertly guide your team in hitting vital production, service, and safety goals, all while maintaining quality and cost control.
We're looking for a strategic thinker to develop and execute game-changing plans focused on boosting reliability, getting the most out of our assets, and optimising operational flow. You'll have ownership of the site engineering budget, tasked with driving efficiency and uncovering valuable cost-saving opportunities.
You'll be a master problem-solver, investigating major equipment failures and implementing lasting solutions. Championing and embedding best practices in Safety, Health & Environment, capital projects, and proactive asset care will be second nature. You’ll ensure your team’s efforts and KPIs directly fuel our manufacturing success and business objectives.
This role offers the chance to lead significant capital projects, be a key player in our continuous improvement journey, and shape the future of your team through dedicated coaching and structured development. You'll also play an integral part in site risk management, contribute to wider improvement initiatives, and be prepared to deputise for the Site Operations Manager.
