Are you a graduate with the confidence and commitment to change lives through education? This Outstanding secondary alternative provision in Bexley is seeking a full-time Inclusion Mentor to join their team in September. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position.
As an Inclusion Mentor, youll be instrumental in supporting the social, emotional, and academic growth of pupils who thrive in a smaller, tailored setting. Youll work within a highly experienced team led by inspirational leadership, where student needs are truly prioritised.
This Inclusion Mentor position is perfect for a psychology graduate (or similar) who is resilient, passionate, and ready to step up. Youll work closely with teachers, SEN specialists, and support staff in a setting that values inclusion and celebrates progress.

Work in small classes with 2 TAs per room

Regular CPD and mentoring from senior inclusion leads
Ideal for graduates passionate about psychology, behaviour, or SEN
What You'll Be Doing:
Working 1:1 or in small groups as an Inclusion Mentor
Supporting emotional wellbeing, positive behaviour, and personal development
Collaborating with teachers and TAs to deliver inclusive teaching
Acting as a role model and motivator to help students re-engage
Using behaviour plans and therapeutic strategies to support progress
Building trusted relationships with students and their families
Supporting students with transitions, routines, and social skills
Ideal Inclusion Mentor For this Bexley School:
Graduate (psychology or education focus preferred)
Confident, compassionate, and committed to student success
Experience working with young people or in a school environment (advantageous)
Calm, adaptable, and emotionally intelligent
