High-Value Property Claims Specialist
This role involves handling high-value domestic property claims, managing each case from first instruction through settlement.
* Manage and settle complex or major loss property claims, maintaining excellent file quality and delivering empathetic customer service.
To excel in this position, you will need a proven track record of handling complex claims, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a solid grasp of insurance principles and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Investigate and assess damage to properties, determining the most cost-effective solutions for reinstatement works.
* Coordinate with contractors, ensuring that all necessary work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
* Produce detailed reports and updates on claim progress, maintaining accurate records throughout.
* Communicate effectively with policyholders, stakeholders, and other relevant parties, providing clear explanations and resolutions to concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certification in Loss Adjusting or related field (e.g., CII, CILA).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
* A valid UK driving license and ability to travel frequently across the region.
