Job Title: Group Financial Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Accountant to work in our Global Head Office finance team based in Hinckley, Leicestershire. As a Group Financial Accountant, you will be an integral part of a driven, agile, capable, and experienced team of around 40 people responsible for all aspects of finance for the Group, including:
* Management, financial accounting, consolidation, and group reporting.
* Business partnering at all levels across a complex and fast-moving business.
* Pricing, forecasting, financial planning, and financial strategy.
* Customs, all forms of tax including group transfer pricing.
* Global treasury including foreign exchange and metal hedging.
* Financial compliance and control.

You will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and have direct access to the CFO, CEO, and other senior leaders. The role requires ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification, with consideration for exceptional candidates in the final stages of their qualifications. You will be supported in your professional development and will help define the Group’s approach to evolving reporting standards and legislation.
Essential skills & experience include:
* Actively studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or similar).
* Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
* Understanding of financial consolidation principles.
* Ability to manage multiple projects successfully.
* Financial and regulatory awareness.
* Driven, motivated, and ambitious attitude.
* Decisiveness and independence.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Willingness to travel globally.
Additional preferred experience includes:
* Over 5 years' relevant experience.
* Experience in a multi-country manufacturing business.
* Exposure to global tax compliance.
* Audit and assurance experience.
* Financial reporting within a global manufacturing context.
