Role: Technician Engineer x 5 REF 94724 Contract Length: 6 months Location: Deeside IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: £21.51 per hour Security Clearance: BPSS Spinwell is recruiting for a Technician Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TECHNICIAN ENGINEER Perform self-directed Test; Diagnostics; Repair; Maintenance; Modification; Calibration and Manufacture of Equipment down to module / individual Component level using approved Engineering Documentation and techniques. Hold Self-Certification; Over-Signing; Certifying & Conditioning of Equipment Responsibilities ( for example: Serviceable / Unserviceable / Scrap). Supervision; Training and Over-Signing of Junior / Equivalent grade Staff & Apprentices. Carry out Feasibility and Development activity, including the Reverse Engineering and Creation of supporting engineering documentation / Test Procedures. Use a combination of different client IT software. Provide Specialist Advice as required. Work within a scheme of Engineering Governance and comply with all Policy and Legislation SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE TECHNICIAN ENGINEER Holds relevant: Level 4 qualification and advanced/higher apprenticeship; or Level 3 qualification, a nationally recognised Electrical/Electronic engineering apprenticeship or Military equivalent. Practical engineering experience in one or more of the roles listed.
