Job Description
New Directions Education are currently recruiting for a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work full time across primary schools in Chester.
We are working with a range of welcoming and supportive schools that serve diverse communities across the Chester area. These schools are seeking committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to provide high-quality classroom support and contribute to positive learning environments.
Role Details:
1. Full-time position
2. Working hours: 8:30am–3:30pm (this may differ for some schools)
3. Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
4. Deliver small group interventions
5. Provide 1:1 support where required
6. Assist the class teacher with preparation and classroom organisation
Requirements:
7. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
8. Recent experience within a primary school setting
9. Strong behaviour management and communication skills
10. A proactive and flexible approach
11. A full UK driving licence is desired
12. Must be available to commit to a full-time role
