Job Title: Supply Chain Compliance Co-ordinator
Location: Peterlee, County Durham
Hours: Full Time - 36.50 - Monday to Thur 8:30 to 4:30, Friday 8:30 to 12;30pm
Contract: 24 months
New developed role, there is full autonomy there is full control over supplier chain and world class standard, it's a big opportunity put their stamp on how the roles executed., they will have more exposure to Suppliers chain and leadership team and group. Potential to going perm as well.
Manufacturing environment experience is required.
Main experience would be in compliance.
SOX compliance experience is highly desirable
Auditing experience, compliance-based role.
3-5 years' experience.
Pharmaceutical or public sector would have transferable skills.
SAP Advantages, Excel and PowerPoint at intermediate level,
SAP is internal system training will be provided.
Strong understanding and previous experience using common supply chain systems.
Pay rate: up to £25.80 per hour
Minimum Salary Comparator: £47,615.00

Job Purpose
Responsible for compliant practices within the Supply Chain function.
Identify and execute cross-department projects that contribute to improved accuracy, cost and process compliance.
Scope to include:
Creating & execute robust audit plans across the supply chain department.
Ensuring procedural documents are current, in line with corporate requirements and adhered to
Standard work is being followed and challenged accordingly.
Departmental adherence to compliance is understood, followed, and audited. Training obtained where appropriate.
Compliance workshops facilitated to educate and improve the supply chain team.
Work across supply chain to implement robust self-auditing processes.
Report measures and KPI's relating to compliance related performance targets.
Plant level compliance activities supported.
Co-ordinating multi-departmental teams to drive process improvements that contribute to improved inventory accuracy, cost and process compliance.
Present improvements to supply chain leaders.Job related statistics:

Job duties:
The incumbent is required to coordinate compliance reviews across the supply chain department to confirm processes are in line with the procedural documents and corporate compliance processes. Process audits will be carried out and where there is a gap the incumbent will support the relative area to agree process improvements and timelines.
The incumbent is required to work with the supply chain team to identify process improvements and co-ordinate projects from concept to completion with multiple department contribution. Projects will span across various departments and the incumbent will facilitate cross functional teams.
The incumbent will take ownership or facilitate other who are doing the following:
Review and develop supply chain procedural documents and propose appropriate changes where necessary targeting compliance and inventory effectiveness.
Audit procedural documents across multiple departments
Audit process flow plans in all areas that impact inventory control
Produce and present compliance metrics
Acting as process expert for compliance and inventory related topics and process changes.
At the forefront of delivering training and education across the supply chain on the topic of compliance and inventory effectiveness
Taking the lead in embracing a compliance culture throughout the supply chain The incumbent is responsible for creating and maintaining a robust auditing process so that all areas are reviewed in an appropriate timeframe.
The incumbent is called upon to actively challenge processes and practices to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain with compliance and inventory accuracy at the forefront of improvement agendas.
Processes relating to inventory accuracy will be reviewed and development plans executed to mitigate the risk of stock losses and inaccurate cycle counts which lead to production shorts and MPU risks. This will be performed by taking a significant role in project teams and driving the compliance culture into the production areas.
POSITION IMPACT: Incumbent is responsible to achieve corporate supply chain performance targets, including improvements in inventory accuracy, SOX compliance, supply chain assessments and internal self-audit program.
Job Requirements:
Strong understanding and previous experience using common supply chain systems.
Knowledge of and/ or experience using common supply chain systems.
Ability to facilitate an improvement initiative by engaging with stakeholders and creating buy in.
Must possess strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to drive common supply chain processes across multiple departments within a business division.
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve complex problems.
