Position: Senior Metrology Manager Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire Salary: £55-60K, commensurate with experience Nicholas Associates has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Metrology Manager, to join an established & growing client in the Sheffield area. You will lead and manage, at senior level, all metrology / CMM activities within the organisation, ensuring accurate measurement, inspection, and analysis of aerospace castings and patterns while maintaining compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Responsibilities include: Measurement and dimensional analysis of all patterns and castings with support from the departmental manager. Operation, maintenance, and performance of : Faro scanning arm, Hexagon scanning arm, Hexagon Coordinate Measurement Machines with support from the departmental manager. Lead and oversee CMM inspection activities, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with aerospace standards with support from the departmental manager. Establish, implement, and maintain CMM accuracy checks, validation routines, and verification processes. Develop and enforce inspection procedures, operating standards, and best practices across the CMM department.
