Cambian Great Dunmow School is an independent specialist provision that provides relevant, positive, and high-quality education experiences and support for children and young people aged 11 to 19 with ongoing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties with associated complex needs.
As a Teaching Assistant you will:
* Supervise and support students in both the classroom and off-site in the community.
* Assist the teacher in planning learning activities.
* Build and maintain positive professional relationships with staff and young people.
* Encourage and motivate students to learn and develop.
* Demonstrate good communication skills, including clarifying and explaining instructions clearly.
* Support students in small group and on a 1-2-1 basis.
* Help students access the national curriculum, including developing their literacy and numeracy skills.
* Produce legible, accurate, and prompt written reports/records.
