We’re looking for a Residential Support Workerto join a warm and welcoming children’s home in Aylesbury. Your Role As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day care of the young people living in the home. Your key responsibilities will include: * Building positive, trusting relationships with children aged 8–17 * Supporting emotional, social, and behavioural development * Promoting independence and life skills through daily routines and activities * Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of each child * Working collaboratively with a team and external professionals * Participating in activities, school runs, meal preparation, and household tasks * Completing daily logs and contributing to care plans * Taking part in sleep-in shifts and occasional weekend work ✅ What We’re Looking For * Experience working with children or young people (residential care ideal, but not essential) * A calm, patient, and empathetic approach * Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins * Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it – full funding provided) What We Offer * Competitive salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (plus additional sleep-in payments) * Fully funded qualifications and training (incl.
