Overview
These are exciting times for our Children and Young People Mental Health (CYPMH) services as we transform and enhance our services for young people across our County. We are seeking applications from exceptional managers with a clinical background and operational experience in mental health to lead CYP East. The Operational Manager will work alongside an experienced and supportive Quadrant Leadership Team to oversee operational processes within the team and ensure high quality care is provided in a timely manner. They will work closely with the other three Operational Managers and the Service Manager as we work to standardise care across the county. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced CYP clinician who is seeking a development opportunity to extend their operational skills and experience.
CYP East is a committed and creative multi-disciplinary team that provides great care. The team work from sites in Welwyn Garden City, Hoddesdon, and Bishops Stortford. Travel will be required between the sites to support the smooth running of the clinical care across the East Herts area.
Responsibilities
* Allocate, deploy, prioritise and deliver services and implement and review systems, policies, standards and procedures to ensure high-quality services within the Frameworks agreed by the Trust.
* Lead and contribute to service transformation initiatives within CYP East.
* Collaborate with the Quadrant Leadership Team, other Operational Managers and the Service Manager to standardise care across the county.
* Manage operational processes to ensure timely and effective clinical care across sites and teams, including travel between Welwyn Garden City, Hoddesdon and Bishops Stortford as required.
Qualifications and Experience
* Management experience within the NHS.
* Significant experience of working with clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve service improvement.
* Demonstrated passion for operational management in community mental health services.
