The Opportunity
Given increased project expansion, a fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Customer Service Representative to drive all customer service queries are controlled safely and cost-effectively, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction is achieved.
The role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for enhancing customer relationships whilst organising the safe, cost-effective movement of products to meet customer requirements.
You will have the following skills and experience
* Customer focused: Driven to provide outstanding customer service. The candidate should be able to effectively address customer requests and proactively follow up on deliveries, enquiries and issues. A problem solver who can think on their feet. Building excellent relationships with customers and going the extra mile.
* Import/Export: Knowledge in both import and export procedures. Diligence and attention to detail is always required – especially when raising appropriate export documentation (to a first-rate standard).
* Time Management: Must have the ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines/targets is crucial. Forward thinking and flexible. Adhering to our compliance programme, code of ethics and attention to sustainability.
* Self-Starter: Able to work with little supervision and is self-motivated
* Continuous Improvement: Has a CI mentality. Always thinking of improvements that will improve customer service, balance costs and drive excellence.
* Team Player: Works well in a team. Able to share ideas and concepts. Support others where necessary. Participates and contributes to team and departmental meetings.
* System Knowledge: Has sufficient ERP knowledge to fulfil this and any other role within the Customer Care team. Experience of SAP would be a bonus. An intermediate level of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is also required. The ERP system must be kept up to date to reflect the real-time order status.
* Language: Must be fluent in English, ideally fluent in Spanish, French or Italian.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
* Highly Customer Focused.
* A good understanding of transport management and warehousing sales order processing would be an advantage.
* Ability to manage time well and prioritise work – meeting key targets and KPIs.
* Conscientious and courteous with a positive “can do” attitude and approach.
* Education to A level.
* Commercial sales experience and knowledge of export orders.
