About the role
We are seeking two Lecturers in Accounting (Teaching Focused). In this role, you will contribute to the delivery and development of our undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum, both on campus and through distance learning. You will play a key part in maintaining the School’s reputation for teaching excellence by engaging in curriculum development, supervising dissertations, and ensuring high standards of academic quality.
Alongside teaching responsibilities, you will undertake scholarship and administrative duties that support the School’s strategic objectives. You will have opportunities to engage with enterprise activities and represent the University externally, helping to enhance our visibility and impact nationally and internationally.
About you
You will bring recognised expertise in financial or management accounting and have recent experience delivering modules in these areas. A PhD (completed) and/or membership of a relevant professional body such as ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA or CIMA is essential. You will demonstrate a commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students across diverse learning environments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are vital. Experience in postgraduate supervision, distance learning, and practical industry knowledge would be advantageous.
