Role: Electrical Design Engineer
Salary: GBP 45,000 - GBP 67,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise)
Type: Permanent
Location: North Devon with hybrid flexibility
About the role
My client works within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team.
Responsibilities
* Work within the existing multi-disciplinary engineering team
* Be involved in development and electrical design activities
* Work on the whole product lifecycle
* Carry out analysis when needed, test and product support
* Work on a variety of electrical components and systems (including control systems)
* Ensure product performance when integrating subsystems
* Ensure that designs meet EMC standards and defence regulatory standards
* Create the required technical documentation
Requirements
* Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City and Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
* Experience designing a variety of Electrical Systems
* Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPlan or SolidWorks Electrical
* Excellent problem solving capabilities
* Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* SC Clearance will be required
