About the Role
Responsible for full range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance and repair procedures on a variety of vehicles including LCVs, HGVs, trailers and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities
* Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repair procedures on vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment.
* Use personal toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair on light and heavy goods vehicles.
* Access and use specialist tooling and shared equipment in modern workshops.
Qualifications
* Qualified mechanic with IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle (or equivalent).
* Experience working on a wide range of vehicles such as LCV/HGV.
* Valid UK driving licence, preferably HGV with trailer experience.
* High working standards and pride in workmanship.
* Flexible to work on a flexible shift rota and support the team as required.

* Salary: £39,715 plus shift allowance £87.58 per week when working the late shift (finish 22:00).

Working Hours
Full time – 39.5 hours per week, 5 over 6 days per week. Rotating shift pattern: week 1: 06:00‑14:30, week 2: 07:00‑15:30, week 3: 13:30‑22:00. 1 in 3 Saturdays required, with weekday day off. Night shift possible in the future.
